Acne Studios is a Swedish designer house founded back in 1996 in Stockholm. Acne stands for Ambition to Create Novel Expression, and the fashion-makers stick to their commitment of expressing themselves through making high-quality apparel and accessories, including Acne Studio cases. The company started out with 100 pairs of unisex jeans, after realizing there was high demand for denim in Sweden, but no real offering at the time. The red-stitched jeans were so successful that all the major shops wanted to sell them, which meant a big break for the new designer brand.

Every new Acne Studios collection delivers one or two new tablet cases designed primarily for Apple iPads, but also compatible with a wide range of other similarly sized devices.
