Bringing forward the vast experience accumulated in producing electronics, Samsung has always featured its screen technology as among the best in the tablet world. Those who appreciate the sharp, crisp displays of the electronics giant will certainly want to take note of the massive Galaxy Note Pro 12.2, certainly the largest-screen tablet Samsung sells – and perhaps simply the biggest available on the market.
To put it concisely, the Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 could be the ultimate in scalable tablets. Designed with a set of pick-your-own features from the multi-functional S Pen hyper-stylus to the expansive set of apps. The Note Pro 12 starts with the Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, as of this writing the most up-to-date operating system out there. Proponents of Dropbox could be sold solely on the *50 GB* of free storage included, and others on the free New York Times access.
Included with the Pro are a slew of proprietary apps primarily designed for the S Pen and a bundle including some top enterprise apps and other workplace-friendly offerings like The New York Times and Dropbox. Advanced business software is plentiful for basic calendar and inbox functions to WebEx, Remote PC, e-Meeting and well more. And of course the S Pen naturally brings a whole slew of custom-made software just for use with this amazingly handy graphic tool.
The display? Oh, yes. It’s a mammoth (with this particular Galaxy Pro tablet, one really has to work the thesaurus for synonyms to describe largeness) 12.2” with 2,560 x 1,600 resolution – nearly as dense as the iPad 4 and, of course, noticeably more titanic. (See what we mean?)
Then there’s the price. A premium machine demands a premium price, naturally, and the Samsung Galaxy Pro 12 proves no exception. Get ready to pony up $750 for a 32 GB version and $850 for a 64 GB version. Bluetooth keyboards are also specifically created with the Galaxy Pro line in mind which could run another $100. But would you believe us if we told you it just might be worth it…?
