Similar to such brands like H by Harris, Kate Spade and Saddleback Leather, here is yet another company that was founded as a result of one man’s fruitless search to find a functional and durable bag with character and style (not to toot our own horn, but we’re beginning to think many brands may not have spawned if we were around in time to help). Based in Austin Texas, Satchel & Page is united by a passion for craftsmanship and design in creating high-end leather cases for the modern nomad.

So far, the company has developed two different types of Satchel & Page iPad cases. The Alegna iPad Purse ($180) is a robust tablet case for ladies with shoulder strap made of waxed canvas/nubuck leather and available in three colors: cobalt, black and olive. “The iPad Satchel” ($170) is a tablet bag available in slate gray and tan. Both models are designed with a neoprene-padded compartment for holding the original iPad or any tablet up to 10” in size, as well as exterior/interior pockets for organizing your clutter.
