MICROMAX CANVAS TAB P650

Canvas Tab P650 is company's first ever product in the 8 inch line-up which comes with 1024x768 pixels display. The tablet packs 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU clubbed with 1 GB RAM for stable performance. With an interesting addition of SIM slot, the tablet offers calling support as well as 2G/3G connectivity.

Micromax Canvas tab is fitted with an IPS display which has a resolution of 1024x768pixels. Now what that means for an 8inch screen? The color production is good and the HD videos actually look like HD.

The Micromax Canvas Tab 2 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and there is slight customization to the OS, but nothing too major. For the most part, the UI is stock Android.

It handles most of the operations smoothly but we noticed slight lag when heavy graphic apps are launched. At times, the screen response was slow. The 5MP rear camera was just about average. We got close to six hours of battery life on a single charge.

Micromax Canvas Tab P650 is a well-packaged tablet. It has all the features that a tablet buyer would expect. For instance, it has a big battery, huge storage capacity, quad core processor, 1 GB RAM, latest Android operating system, front and rear cameras, and, of course, a not-so-heavy profile.
