Though Apple calls its latest tablet PC the iPad 2, it actually might be more appropriately named the iPad 1.1. After all, little has changed in the Apple iPad 2 from its first edition, but how does one improve on a market-leading product?

Among the minor but overall significant improvements are a slight decrease in size, from 9.7”x7.47”x0.5” to 9.5”x7.33”x0.34”, while slimming down a bit from 1.5 to 1.3 pounds. Apple iPad 2 battery life is also of note. This tablet probably has the longest-running battery out there. With full use of the iPad 2, the battery can stay alive for about 10.5 hours, outdoing the iPad by at least one hour and very few competitors topped that one.
