LG G PAD 8.0

The LG G Pad 8.0 is an 8-inch Android tablet which slots neatly in between the G Pad 10.1 and the G Pad 7.0, which are also being launched at the same time. The internals are practically identical across all three devices, with a quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon CPU, 800 x 1280-pixel IPS screen, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.

LG's G Pad 8.0 is comfortable to hold even for a longer time owing to its rounded edges. The screen's edges are pleasantly slight, and only theGalaxy Tab 3 and MediaPad M1 have even narrower frames. It is, however, the thickest tablet in the comparison field with a depth of 9.9 millimeters. However, its weight of just 338 grams is relatively light, and only the Tab 3 (314 gr.) undercuts it.

LG is hoping to set the G Pad 8.0 apart from the pack with a sync feature that brings smartphone features to the tablet. With QPair 2.0, users can connect this device to their smartphones via Bluetooth, so they can answer calls, receive notifications, and send text messages from their tablet.
