POLYURETHANE CASES

Polyurethane tablet cases are comprised of a plastic polymer known for its durability and high resilience to outside elements for protection superior to that of standard plastic. Polyurethane is often noted for its superior feel to that provided by metal or plastic tablet cases and are typically less slippery.

The most common styles for the polyurethane tablet case are tablet shells, simple folding cases such as folios and hard cases. Typically, the polyurethane folding case requires little extra padding to prevent everyday damage, due the material’s tensile strength provided by the microfiber structure. Polyurethane provides good flexibility to allow these cases to include a viewing stand as well. Hard cases made of polyurethane are reasonably lightweight and, as with other inflexible tablet cases, accessibility to ports is molded into the case for ease of use.
