Acer Iconia One 7 B1-730

Following the release of their earlier model B1-720 at the CES event, Acer decided they could improve the tablet even further and released the B1-730 with upgraded capability and mightier performance. The Acer Iconia One boasts a 5 Megapixel camera which is great, but what really stands out about this tablet is the Intel Atom processor dual core at 1.6 GHz. This is a big improvement over the previous model’s Mediatek chip at 1.3 GHz.

Another improvement is the longer battery life, up to 7 hours constant use is quite reasonable. While these are not high end specifications, the Acer Iconia One proves to be a good low-end tablet for tighter budget concerns. The screen size is only 7 inch which is a little smaller than most tablets, and the resolution is a bit low at 1280 x 800 pixels. That’s still good enough for basic functions, but don’t expect to be creating masterpieces in Photoshop on these graphics.

The tablet has a low 1GB of RAM memory, there’s nothing to be excited about there but the low cost is the main attraction to entice laptop users of all ages to switch to a tablet. The Acer Iconia One 7 also comes in a wide range of colors; white, blue, pink, red and black. Whichever style suits you, if you just want a tablet to satisfy your internet fix, the low cost of this tablet makes it an attractive option with decent features for first time tablet buyers.
