Founded in 1995 by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, Dsquared2 is a Canadian fashion design house renowned for creating a concept of “alternative luxury”, which offers high-street fashion items to a broader base of customers. The brand designs and manufactures a wide range of high-class men’s and women’s clothing and accessories, including shoes, eyewear, bags, fragrances, and recently, Dsquared2 cases.

Within the brand’s current 2013 collection there are just two Dsquared2 iPad cases, labeled iPad Holders ($95). Each is styled as a tablet back protector sporting the famous Dsquared2 Bulldog print, but in different colors. These designer tablet cases are compatible with the iPad 2 and the new iPad, with or without a SmartCover attachment. On top of the obvious fashion statement provided, the accessories offer decent impact protection while maintaining clear access to all iPad features and functions.

Typically, tablet cases produced by renowned fashion brands can cost upwards of several hundred to thousands of dollars apiece. This designer house once again underlines its “alternative luxury” concept by allowing everyone to buy Dsquared2 tablet cases at a more affordable price.
