May we now acknowledge Chrome as a leader in laptop/tablet messenger bags? The company may even have bettered its excellent Mini Buran Messenger Bag with the Mini Metro Small Heritage, which despite the name can carry bigger tablets at a lower price. The exterior design of the Mini Metro is more or less identical to the Mini Buran (which is to say the fairly standard classic messenger bag style), though the Metro is proportionally wider in order to accommodate larger devices. A choice of colors is available as well: In the basic black Mini Metro, trim may be red or white. Alternatively, there’s gray and khaki green with black trim or eye-catching light blue or yellow exterior. The massive space devoted to any tablet dominates the Mini Metro Heritage’s interior, but all the necessary pockets, including zippered pouch for accessories, a smartphone holder, two pen/stylus holders are here. A nice “hidden” pocket within this main space is yet extra handy, and seals with a strong Velcro lock. Note, too, that Chrome uses the same tough, high-quality material in constructing the Mini Metro: Waterproof Cordura and military-grade tarpaulin liner together with various zippers and Velcro locks keep the device(s) well safe from the elements. A quick-release buckle (which includes a bottle opener – yes!) is featured on the Shoulder strap . Naturally, this strap boasts all the same quality and strength of the rest of the bag. The mounting strap includes industrial-strength Velcro, EVA foam-padded interior and is lined with reflective straps - a must-have in a messenger bag for nighttime use. And the strap is even available for left or right shoulder.
