The Leather Cover from HAND and HIDE is a great-looking folio tablet case compatible with a wide range of 6-7 inch tablets. Handmade from top genuine leather with eco-friendly dye and vegetable tanned treatment, the case brings vintage, luxurious looks and shields the tablet from everyday harm. Corner mounting system keeps the device inside the case at all times with free access to its ports and buttons. There’s an option to include auto sleep/wake functionality for selected devices. The case also sports a small flap pocket on the inside for the most important things. A small tab closure features a button lock for extra security.

I am bringing centuries-old tradition into the modern world, by adapting ancient motifs to modern functional designs. My products are all made of vegetable-tanned full-grain leather which is dyed with eco-friendly dyes and waxed before being hand-stitched with durable braided nylon thread.


There are natural variations that occur in the leather texture. I try to select the best parts of each hide, but small scars or blemishes may be present and only add to the rich patina. Similarly, since I hand dye each item, there will be variations in the coloring which will make each item an entirely unique piece of functional art.
