Now that those who aren't enamored with this darling tablet case for fans have left the page, we’ll talk some specifics. The Panda sleeve is a collaborative work created by the Cooper and Happi Playground brands. Yes, the design is a winner with the happy panda face done up in polyurethane leather and its appendages in plush faux fur. Nicely enough, these materials feel great when carrying and keep the entire sleeve seriously lightweight at only 100 grams (3.5 ounces). The whole thing is sealed with a tightly-seamed zipper enclosure. The Cooper X Happi Playground Panda sleeve works with any Apple iPad, or similarly sized 9” tablet. Of note is the tight fit for iPad 1, which can ultimately put too much stress on the zipper and seams. Beyond the fuzzy appendages, the design features more faux-fur on the inside too. Keeping the Panda lightweight was certainly the idea here. But iPad owners will be equally pleased with how much generous everyday protection this cute little bear provides. High and top marks go all around until the prospective customer gets to the price. With a suggested retail of about $50, this may be considered a bit pricey for what is essentially a basic tablet sleeve. Though the cost may put a squeeze on some wallets, buyers will be rewarded with a cute sleeve design that they may literally want to squeeze with affection.
