Comfortable like a pair of jeans – that’s what IPEVO appears to be going for in its demin-exterior PadPillow Stand. And thistablet pillow case shares some advantages with those Levi’s, such as the easy cleaning (just strip the exterior and throw it in the washing machine) and soft feel. Of course, the main selling point of the PadPillow Stand is the incredible options offered to the video-first tablet user. Almost paradoxically, the simplest of designs provides high functionality in this area. Simply place the firm pillow wherever you want – including on a soft surface such as a bed or the user’s lap – and you’re good to go for viewing. Though billed for iPad tablet models, any tablet works well enough with the PadPillow Stand. As a nice perk, an extra bit may be folded out to allow use of a wireless keyboard. Something of a balancing act may be required, however: While a simple tag normally holds the tablet in place when viewing, the keyboard occupies this holder while in use with nothing to keep the tablet standing – a slight drawback here.
