Users of the Brickcase should be careful not to drop it, as to preserve to preserve both their LEGO creation and Mini tablet. Although the case offers surefire protection against small bumps and hits, its lack of comprehensive edge protection and reliable front cover closure may lead to device damage in the event of an ill-fated drop to the floor. While the Brickcase is mainly about its unique toy-friendly feature, the lack of a built-in tablet stand is still a bit of letdown. The case does automatically sleep/wake the tablet upon opening and closing the cover. But that's about it. If you are content to have just the basic – albeit very durable and reliable – protection that is offered here, and find the playful character more game than gimmick, then the Brickcase may certainly be your best case scenario

In the Brickcase, hard plastic and soft lining are combined to create a classic folio that is excellent at providing everyday protection for the iPad Mini. The case will also activate the device’s built-in auto sleep/wake. But the lack of positive closure and stand features do take away from the overall functionality charisma. But if you like playthings, then the Brickcase is surely any Lego®-lover’s best case scenario.
