TapeGear Shred Apple iPad Mini 1/2/3 Sleeve

Considering that it is made of what is essentially fabric waist, the Shred iPad Mini sleeve is a superb tablet protector, especially when it comes to accidental drops. While some recycled materials do not resemble the original objects they are made of, the shredded pieces are clearly recognizable here, giving this TapeGear case a unique, charmingly ragged look.

The aptly named Shred is composed of a myriad of grey, white, blue, and red pieces of cloth fabric thread meshed together to form a soft yet solid material. It sort of looks like fine grained marble, while at the same time is also reminiscent of plain rags used for mopping the floor. Some may be deterred by this rather lowly look. But then again, others will find plenty of charisma in knowing that the Shred is made from 100% recycled material. Regardless of your eco-friendly tendencies, the Shred is an even cozier alternative to the otherwise also excellent ColcaSac Varanasi and Mujjo Originals tablet sleeves. The only apprehension you may have with the Shred is that dirt or stains could be hard to remove and that some fraying may occur with extended use. However, the organic texture could hide these foreseeable imperfections quite well. Meanwhile, the snap-button fastener provides reliable closure of the locking strap. From there, the Shred provides good thermal insulation for the tablet, especially when traveling on cold, blustery days.
