Fu Design X Echo Creative Screamer Apple iPad 2/3/4 Folio

The Screamer folio case is a distinctive fit for the Apple iPad 2 or iPad 3. Though this is one of the more pricier folio case options, the unique pugilist Robot 99 character on the front gives it a strong fighter’s chance. Not all the punch is packed in this original Fu Design cover art. The Echo Creative LETTRE folio contends with its slim profile design and an impressive overall build.

Original Fu Design artwork is the main attraction here. The fun, quirky Robot 99 character on the front is a real scream! Of course, Echo Creative deserves attention for offering up their LETTRE folio to be the canvas, and provide all the extras. The Screamer Cover consists of a grainy PU leather exterior and ultra-soft velvety fabric interior. Together they offer solid protection against dirt, dust, bumps, scratches and screen abrasion. The design has precise cut-outs for keeping the Apple iPad 2/iPad 3 fully functional while enclosed. There are discreet magnets in the cover to provide automatic sleep/wake function and secure case closure.

The bottom right corner contains a built-in rubber tip. This is a nifty little feature for easy cover opening and to reduce the normal wear caused by dirty, oily fingers. The cover folds back to connect with the rear-side tab for tablet stand modes. Depending on the strength of your touch, the stand can be a tad wobbly. But the design is predominantly quite sturdy on level surfaces, and offers the user 20° and 60° angles for typing and viewing in landscape format.

Overall: GOOD

The Echo Creative contribution is certainly nice. But in the end, it’s the Fu Designs Robot 99 who delivers the final knock-out blow. The Screamer Cover ultimately proves to be the best case scenario for those who fancy some distinctive playful looks for their Apple iPad 2 or iPad 3 tablet.
