Rock Business Bag Apple iPad / 10” Tablet Bag review

The Business Bag is a no-nonsense tablet bag that gets right down to the standard business of allowing everyday gadgets and some other essentials to be carried neatly on their person. Rock has employed heavy-duty nylon and soft padding, which are well combined to make the user believe that their stored valuables aren't stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The Business Bag doesn’t exactly win any points for originality. And its drab neutral-colored appearances (army green or chocolate brown) might not win a whole lot of people over either. But what it lacks in first impressions, the Business Bag more than makes up for with a durable build that is certain to fulfill a long-lasting life.

Rock incorporates heavy-duty nylon material throughout, including the thick adjustable shoulder strap. The scratch-and water-resistant exterior has a subtle sandpaper-like texture to give the shoulder bag a slightly rugged look and feel. With the exception of the small outside pocket, all others feature silky smooth-touch lining and a mechanism for secure closure. And the magnetic cover flap is some extra reassurance that dirt, moisture and water stays out.

The main part of the Business Bag contains soft foam padding to provide the most important stored valuable, any Apple iPad or 9” tablet, a more comfortable ride on the user’s body (if only the shoulder strap were also padded for offering some extra comfort to the user as well). The outside features a Velcro secured rear-side pocket and a small open pocket on the cover flap. Though the later only seems useful up to a certain point. Any stored item, like a cell phone or music player, does risk slipping out when lifting up the flap to access contents on the inside. Behind the cover flap are two zippered pockets. The first is a shallow design with wallet-sized slot and three elastic pen loops. The other, is the large main compartment with a padded divider. With plenty of storage space and a strong material construction, the Business Bag winds up striking a great overall balance of comfort and convenience.
