Hello Kitty Themed Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 Folio review

Wearing your love for Hello Kitty stuff on your sleeve can be good. But, the improved functionality of this folio-style case can prove even better. The Hello Kitty folio for Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 offers the user a nice tablet stand support, solid protection and that distinctive cute look, all for an affordable low price.

At first glance, this seems like just another Hello Kitty folio case with an interesting and distinctive pattern. But further inspection reveals a surprisingly sturdy case design that provides the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 generous all-around protection against bumps, dings, scratches and even a few light accidental drops.

Polyurethane makes up the exterior, which has a nice smooth touch and is resistant to scratches and water. The cover opens and closes with the satisfying click of tough little discreet magnets that also provide auto sleep/wake function. Inside is a flexible rubber shell that wraps around the Note 8.0 for a secure tight fitted. The shell also has all precise cutouts to keep the tablet fully operational while encased.

For tablet stand modes, the plastic frame slides easily over to rest on the grooves marked on the folded-out inner cover base. The tablet can be propped in a variety of viewing angles, ranging from approximately 45° to 80° in landscape format.
