Although you certainly could, this DryCASE bag is not for keeping your food items fresh, but rather to store your tablet so you can use it at the beach, the pool, on a boat, or even while out camping. With flexible plastic and vacuum-sealed technology, this waterproof tablet case will make your device completely water resistant, as well as shielded against dirt, dust, scratches, sand and bird droppings.

Before having fun with your device outdoors, you’ll enjoy some fun shrink-wrapping it. To do so, you need to first open the DryCASE by twisting the clasps outward (I warn you this is not the easiest action) and then slide the device inside. Then, you fit the pump to the nozzle on the side, and simply squeeze until all the air is removed, secure the safety cap and, voila! Your device is now vacuum-sealed!

The flexible plastic design allows you to freely touch your device's screen and buttons, as well as snap clear photographs. It also features a 3-way headphone jack for using headphones or microphone, and as long as a little air is left inside, you can hear and talk through the case. The DryCase includes a lanyard for toting the bag over the shoulder , or wrapping around your wrists for a more secure hold to prevent a gust of wind from tossing your device overboard.

If by some freak chance it does happen, you will still have a chance to save your device as it will remain completely waterproof in depths of up to 100 feet for 1 hour. But such potential disasters may all be avoided by attaching the armband, which is included to make the case more buoyant. DryCASE also offers the "Sport-Belt" ($20), a neoprene waistband for more active device-use.
