The ZIVA Pro by Padacs is designed to maintain the iPad’s nice slim figure while offering it a sharp, professional look. This it does well, but unfortunately its functionality does not impress me as much. It all began with a struggle to squeeze the iPad 2 into the bezel frame, and once fitted the frame was slightly warped and covered a portion of the home button. Although designed to mimic the Apple Smart Cover , the ZIVA Pro’s lid is not nearly as intelligent. The magnets are rather weak, making it difficult to set-up a secure and stable tablet stand feature. Also, it offers an awkward viewing angle, so I recommend the Glare Guard 2 (sold separately) for reducing the glare that is certain to be an issue. The transparent film will also shield the screen from dust and lint, which the ZIVA Pro’s interior can easily collect and transfer. This magnetic tablet case will allow for unobstructed use of your device’s screen, easy to reach access to all buttons, jacks and ports, as well as the ability to snap quality photos with the front/rear-facing cameras.

The ZIVA Pro may not be an expert in terms of function, but it’s a pro at giving your iPad2 some sharp-looking style and protection against everyday wear and tear.
