If there isn’t anything that looks appealing, upload a photo and GelaSkins will create a personalized skin. The skin itself comes in two parts on a piece of paper like a peel-off sticker: a bezel cover and a back cover. Some people may shudder at the thought of applying something sticky to their iPad, but GelaSkins uses a special adhesive backing (called Controltac by 3M) making the stickers easy to install and remove, leaving no residue behind. Applying the iPad skin is a relatively easy task and there was no “bubbling” when I put it on the rear cover. The front part of the skin, that covers the area around the screen, is more difficult to install—an extra set of hands around solves the problem. When the skin is on, match it with the downloaded wallpaper to make a cool, seamless design across the entire Apple iPad.
